In support of Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner Mario Dion's commitment to making the Office and its work as transparent as possible, we release quarterly statistical reports.
These reports provide a description of the work undertaken which enable the Office to fulfill its mandate. The reports contain data on various activity areas undertaken by the Office to administer the Conflict of Interest Act and the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons. This includes the provision of direction and advice to elected Members of Parliament and public office holders, education and outreach, and investigations and figures on how the Office met its service standards.
The purpose of these reports is to:
- align our activities with our mission;
- assess our workload; and
- identify current trends.
Quarterly reports are released
on the last business day of the month following the end of the quarter for
which the data is compiled.
The aggregated data for 2018-19
is published in the annual report under the Conflict of Interest Act for
public office holders and the annual report under the Conflict of Interest Code for Members
of the House of Commons.
