The Office of the Conflict of Interest and
Ethics Commissioner provides independent, rigorous and consistent direction and
advice to Members of Parliament and federal public office holders, conducts
investigations and, where necessary, makes use of appropriate sanctions in
order to ensure full compliance with the Conflict of Interest Code for Members
of the House of Commons and the Conflict of Interest Act.
