The Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner makes available to the public summaries of certain information that it receives from public office holders under the Conflict of Interest Act, and from Members under the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons.
Our Office prepares summaries of the disclosures provided by reporting public office holders and Members, which contain general information regarding assets, liabilities and outside activities. The summaries are signed by the respective public office holders and Members and are placed in the public registry. The summaries are updated as required.
Specific requirements regarding the information that is made public in the registry are found in section 51 of the Act and sections 23 and 24 of the Code.
